Some factors to consider when purchasing an outdoor wall lights:
Type of motion sensor on outdoor sensor lights
There are two main types of motion sensors, passive infrared (PIR) and microwave. PIR motion detectors measure heat levels, and can detect a change in heat when an object emitting heat, for example a person, walks past their sensor field. It is important to ensure when installing LED sensor lights with a PIR sensor, that they're not installed near any heat sources, such as heaters or lamps.
Microwave sensors emits waves, which is then reflected back to the receiver and can detect if any signal has been disrupted. LED sensor lights with a microwave sensor are often extremely sensitive.
Both types of sensors inbuilt into LED sensor lights are available at JH Market and offer an added layer of security protection to homes.
IP rating of outside wall lights
With a minimum IP rating of 54, our outdoor wall lights and outdoor sensor lights have the flexibility to be installed indoors or outdoors. Many of our outside wall lights and outdoor sensor lights are weatherproof, providing you peace of mind when installing them for added security purposes.
